Harry Watkins, James Hitchmough, Henrik Sjöman and Andrew Hirons are developing a project called ‘Future Flora’ – www.futureflora.org
Future Flora is a project to radically improve the way that plants are grown, specified and planted by providing the most advanced information about plants used in public landscapes and embedding it within the procurement and design sector work flows.
In this brief survey, they would like to understand better how different sectors will use Future Flora, assessing the different priorities within the horticultural and landscape sectors.
They hope that it will transform the way in which trees and other landscape plants are specified, help landscape architects (and other professionals) manage substitutions as well as various other core elements to delivering successful landscapes.
