The Arboricultural Association was pleased to be part of the ‘All Party Parliamentary Group on Horticulture’ visit to RHS Hampton Court Festival on Tuesday 2nd July.
Chairman of the Association Jaime Bray and our partners from The Royal Horticultural Society, British Association of Landscape Industries, HTA News (Horticultural Trades Association) and The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) have been emphasising to MPs and peers the need for government to support skills and career development in arboriculture and horticulture. A big talking point raised by Jaime was the importance of tree aftercare in urban landscaping projects.
The AA and its partners are working together to gather evidence of the need for government to invest in and support careers in both disciplines.
