This Technical Guide has been developed as part of a comprehensive review of industry guidance relating to arboricultural tree work at height. It represents the culmination of several years of work involving hundreds of days of study, research and practical workshop exercises, demonstrations, drafting and industry consultation.
The overall principles for planning and management are set out in the Industry Code of Practice for Arboriculture – Tree Work at Height (ICoP), which provides and organisation’s Responsible Person with the information needed to implement appropriate structures, systems and controls.
