Partnering tree care professionals with teachers to deliver and inspire Arboricultural awareness
Our Arb Ambassadors programme partners volunteers from the tree care profession with schools and groups to deliver arboriculture focused learning opportunities.
Talks, careers events, workshops and activities are provided free of charge thanks to the dedication of our Arb Ambassadors who volunteer their time and creativity in order to engage children and young people in tree care.

How it works
We’re harnessing the support of Association members to help us show the next generation of arboriculturists that arboriculture is a fantastic career.
Arb Ambassadors form part of our national outreach programme to engage children and young people, as well as the wider public, in arboriculture and the importance of the tree care profession.
Tree care professionals volunteer to become ambassadors to promote their industry and connect children and young people with arboriculture.
Arb Ambassadors and partners complete our survey which helps us partner them with the right outreach opportunities.
Once a school or group gets in touch, our team will find the right arb ambassador for them and all the help and resources you need to raise awareness of arb as a career with endless opportunities to learn and grow.
Arb Ambassadors can provide activities such as:
- Activities and workshops (Including adults/mixed age groups)
- Attending careers and public events
- Careers talks
- Tree Walks
- Tree ID activities
- Technology demonstrations
- Virtual reality experiences (tree climbing and inspection)
- Tree care for beginners workshops
- Young tree establishment workshops
