Course Objectives:

The Cornwall Branch is hosting an exciting walk around tour of the Eden project. 

Catherine Cutler, Craig Lewis and Dave Paul will host a viewing of the Rainforest Biome and Med Biome (where the Eden Project have just planted 3 near 1000 year old olive trees)

Julie Kendall, Flo Mansbridge and James Clark and Paul Stone host group viewing the outdoor Garden. Both walks will include informal discussion about our existing tree safety policy.

Seats are limited to book quickly!

Course Content:

Agenda

 

Meet at Visitor Centre Cafeteria 10am for coffee/tea. / Registration

 

Leave Cafeteria 10.30am for introduction to the Garden by myself.

Group splits in 2

 

a/ Catherine Cutler / Craig Lewis / Dave Paul host group viewing Rainforest Biome and Med Biome (where we have just planted 3nr 1000 year old olive trees)

b/ Julie Kendall / Flo Mansbridge / James Clark and Paul Stone host group viewing the outdoor Garden.

Both walks will include informal discussion about our existing tree safety policy.

 

12.30pm Lunch in Outdoor Med catering area / Pasties and tea / coffee.

 

1.30 pm – Groups switch for the same tours repeated.

Module Pre-requisites:

The day is aimed at anyone with an interest in tree management and should be of use to Contractors, Consultants, Land Managers and the wider arboricultural community.

Terms of Cancellation or Amendments to details

  • We reserve the right to cancel courses and refund applicants if there is insufficient demand.
  • A FULL charge will be applied to any booking cancelled less than 10 working days before the event.
  • A £30 administration charge may be applied to changes made to bookings that have been received and acknowledged.
