Notes:
  1. This competition will be run in accordance with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) TCC rules, available at www.itcc-isa.com/rulesregulations/rules
  2. Volunteers are advised to ensure they generally understand a role prior to expressing interest, this may be achieved by reading the TCC rules, speaking to an individual with judging or technician experience or contacting the competition head judge or head technician (this is not an exhaustive list)
  3. It is anticipated Event Head Judges will form the judging panel for the Masters’ Climb on Sunday 8th
  4. A meeting for all volunteers will be held Friday 6th at 6pm

Certification/Accreditations

Notes:
  1. Please be aware that all volunteers involved in the set-up of TCC event trees that involves climbing, or undertaking a role of technician that involves climbing will be expected to:
    1. Hold appropriate certification
    2. Provide evidence of a report of thorough examination (LOLER) for equipment older than six months
    3. Have equipment and climbing systems scrutineered for suitability by the event Head Judge and Head Technician
    4. Ensure all components of their personal fall protection system are CE marked

Accommodation/Remuneration

Notes:
  1. Dependent upon sponsorship levels generated to support the competition we hope to be able to subsidise on-site accommodation and breakfast. With sufficient sponsorship accommodation would cost an individual between £35-£65 per night
  2. Dependent on sponsorship levels generated to support the competition we hope to be able to cover fuel costs for volunteers
  3. It is yet to be confirmed whether camping is available on-site
