Trees within the Scottish Planning Framework
A one day course aimed at those employed within planning departments (and associated departments) clarifying the Scottish Government’s policies in relation to trees, Tree Preservation Order protections, Conservation Area protection for trees and how BS5837 standards should be applied.

Bespoke Course Requirements
- Suitable, quiet training room to accommodate the required numbers with tables, chairs, etc. and not too much natural light (to facilitate use of projector) big enough for exam.
- Access to training equipment such as data projector and screen, flip chart, etc. (we can provide these if required).
- Access within easy walking distance to a range of trees for practical exercises.
