Course Objectives:

Through examination and discussion of the realistic scenarios presented, problems and decisions faced by Peter and Jane Excellent, delegates will be well placed to reflect upon the position and performance of their own business in today’s competitive market place.

We anticipate that delegates will, at various times throughout the course, question their existing beliefs and ambitions, and pose questions to the speakers. It is our intention to respond to such questions and comments in a positive and constructive way enabling each delegate to apply changes to their own operations.

Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss their own situations with Paul Elcoat, MD of Elcoat Ltd who has first-hand ‘trouble shooting experience’ of around 200 arboricultural contracting businesses, and Simon Cox, one of the Associations’ Technical Officers. Simon has significant experience in commercial contracting operations.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to present questions to a panel of industry experts who have agreed to share their experiences of the development of their own organisations. The course will be run in a relaxed interactive style so that everyone can get to the answers they need without judgement.

Throughout the course, presentations will be followed by open discussion, team discussion and team exercises.
