Course Objectives:

This course will be run by The Development Company, who have created this bespoke training programme after consultation with the technical team at the Association. The Development Company have experience in delivering this type of training to other practical trade sectors, such as construction, making them the perfect choice for our industry. Supervisors and other key people in the company have the responsibility of the team's safety and well being on top of ensuring they complete the job in a professional and cost effective manner, it can be a tough job at the best of times. Team work is essential sometimes life preserving in the Arboricultural Industry so understanding yourself and others is an essential skill set. 

As a result of this programme participants will:
• Develop a greater understanding of themselves and others
• Acquire skills for the daily management and support of others
• Improve their communication skills including managing difficult conversations

Course Content:

Improve your Team Leader skills to increase productivity and safety. Suitable for Arborist supervisors and any contractors managing a team.

This course is a one-day pragmatic and engaging programme for people working in the industry providing skills to help them in their daily management of others through increased awareness, emotional intelligence and great communication.
