Course Objectives:

The Seminar will provide an update on the latest situation within the Industry in relation to different aspects that the Contractor/ Consultant are likely to encounter. The day aims to put attendees at the forefront of the latest developments, so that they can integrate this information into the advice they give to the Public.

On the agenda is a talk on Felling Licences, plus James Gregory from Cornwall Council providing an update on Tree Legislation. The Forestry Commission will give us the latest on current and upcoming Pest and Disease threats to the region. AA Technical Paul McBride will present a technical update, while we'll also hear from Technical Officer and Ecologist Jim Mullholland give a popular talk on Bats.

We’ll finished the day with a walk through the Gardens and a look at the captive red squirrel population on the site.
