The Plant Health Forestry team support healthy trees, woods, and forests. We work together to prevent entry, provide early detection, and minimise impacts of harmful tree pests and diseases, and to ensure traceability of forestry planting material.

We have a bunch of goodies to give away and plenty of interactive elements to entertain all ages. Take a photo with our selfie frame, choose a name for our GIANT pest Asian Longhorn Beetle sculpture, try on one of our pest bug costumes, and more.

Greenfix is the leading designer and supplier of soil stabilisation and erosion control systems in the UK. In association with Presto Geosystems® in the USA, Greenfix has developed a comprehensive range of products and systems to combat the complex and diverse problems associated with erosion control and soil stabilisation.

Greenfix is the UK stockist of the Presto Geoweb® cellular confinement system, used extensively for a wide variety of solutions to issues including earth retention and tree root protection.

Tree roots are often located within the top 600mm of the surface layers of soil where construction work and compaction can damage or even destroy them. The Geoweb Tree Root Protection system distributes loads laterally, reducing compaction and its effect on the tree root zone.

The Geoweb Tree Root Protection system complies with the necessary Arboricultural Practice Note APN12, along with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, to offer a solution for sites with “no dig” restrictions.

Geoweb also provides strength to porous infill material, controls hydrocarbon pollution, and is manufactured from the highest quality, high-strength virgin polyethene with a textured surface and perforated cell walls.

We also supply TreeBunker™, the 3rd generation structural soil cell systems for new tree planting in hard landscapes. The simple and effective design of TreeBunker provides Landscape Architects and Arboriculturists with the optimum load bearing system with a completely unhindered rooting area within the structure for new root establishment and continued growth. The system is available from 400mm to 1.5m deep structures giving ultimate design flexibility on site.

To complement our existing and new tree related products we have a full range of root barriers, from simple porous products to Japanese Knotweed and other invasive species barriers. We also provide tree root barriers to prevent the ingress of tree roots into structures and pipe systems.

Greenfix erosion control products vary from biodegradable pre-seeded blankets and permanent turf reinforcement mats (TRM’S) to un-seeded blankets and meshes in biodegradable and permanent materials. Our product range also extends to grass seed, mulch mats, silt control, recycled grass and gravel pavers and many other environment sympathetic solutions.

The UK Bonsai Association was established on the 21st October 2018 as an umbrella association bringing together all aspects of UK Bonsai.

As a non-profit association, our purpose is to promote knowledge and interest in all aspects of bonsai and to connect the whole UK bonsai community.

We publish the UKBA monthly bulletin, this enables us to fulfil our main criteria of communicating all information about UK bonsai events directly to all bonsai enthusiasts.

The administrators and helpers of the UKBA are volunteers who are dedicated to spreading the word about all aspects of bonsai within the UK and also promoting UK bonsai abroad.

The UK Bonsai Association is open to all individuals free of charge, we invite you to Join Us.
