Education and Careers Hub

A new area for ARB Show, we have a created a space to inspire, motivate and support public awareness, education, and careers in arboriculture.

Morning Presentations

During our morning presentations you will hear from industry professionals and urban tree enthusiasts who can offer valuable insights on the wide range of job opportunities and supporting educational courses available within arboriculture.

One-to-one speed sessions

Our afternoon 15 minute speed sessions will give you the opportunity to meet face-to-face with industry specialists to find out all you need to know about the sector. Whether you are a student, career changer, or are already in the industry would like some advice on what to do next. Sign ups are on a first-come, first served basis, and we’ll need to be strict with the timing, so have your questions prepared!

Session contributors include: Tree Life Training; Barcham Trees Nurseries; from police officer to arborist career-changer, Yvette Freeman; Arb Association independent trainer Richard Allen; Membership Manager and career pathways advisor, Jess Palfreyman; BATS trainer and researcher Jim Mullholland. Fund4Trees charity founder, Russell Ball will be giving out free trees to young climbers and author & presenter Julian Hight will be on hand for book signing.
