Arboricultural Association Professional Member Paul Bunce needs our help in responding to his survey on managing ash dieback.
“I am looking into the occurrence and management of Ash dieback in woodland and individual trees in parks and streets. Also, how arboricultural professionals are currently managing Ash dieback, including if and how they think this might change in the future.
“This comes from current observation within East Anglia that the diseases progression appears to differ in woodland and non-woodland trees within the same region. Field work undertaken during September this year will also form part of the projects final results.
“It is hoped that this research project will highlight if a clear difference exists between progression in woodland and non-woodland trees and how managers change their approach to managing the disease in a region as the disease progresses.
“The survey only takes 2-3 minutes to complete. All data gathered in completely anonymous. The link below is currently active, with the survey closing on December 31st 2019.”
