AA Trustee and Committee Nominations 2019

Author:  Arboricultural Association
Last Updated:  09/07/2019

The Arboricultural Association

and Committee

Can you help us continue to build the profile of Arboriculture and the Association both domestically and internationally?

As the largest arboricultural institution in the UK the Arboricultural Association (AA) continues to grow and develop, serving the needs of all those involved in amenity tree care, providing a home for all sectors of arboriculture – civic, commercial, utility and academic and providing support and services for all levels of tree care professionals – craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy.

How to nominate yourself

We now invite nominations from individual members willing and able to volunteer their time and effort to support our work and aims, by acting as Trustees and /or Committee members. Information and further details regarding the Associations vision, values and the strategic plan, for the period 2018 – 2020 can be found within the ‘About us’ section on AA website.

About Us >

If elected, you will have the opportunity to influence arboriculture in the very widest sense; guiding our activity in areas such as training and education, standards, biodiversity, biosecurity, green infrastructure, political engagement, press, publicity and partner engagement. The list is already long and growing almost by the day as our success generates even more opportunities.

Please find the nomination form download below, detailing the vacancies that will be available within the Board of Directors and Committee meetings from the 9th September 2019. If you would like to nominate yourself (to be voted in at the AGM if multiple nominations are received) for a seat on either the Board or a Committee, or both, please complete the form, sign it and return to stewart@trees.org.uk AND hanif@trees.org.uk by the deadline(s).
