‘Elm hope’

The author considers the impact of the arrival of Dutch elm disease to the north-west of Scotland and the creative ways local communities are dealing with it.
‘Visit to Pitcarmick Pinetum and Faskally Forest’
by Simon Stuart.
Simon summarises a day with the trees in Perth and Kinross including a visit to see the champion Abies lasiocarpa var. arizonica and Pseudotsuga menziesii ‘Fretsii’.
‘Scottish Tree Climbing Competition 2024’
by Mark Foster.
