Join our team! We are seeking an experienced horticultural professional with excellent tree and plant knowledge to lead our Garden Landscapes Team, responsible for the maintenance and development of the Botanic Garden's significant tree collection and the landscape in which it sits.

Working closely with the Head of Horticulture, you will lead the development of the tree collections, primarily through strategic planning and sourcing, as well as tree safety and hazard management, alongside the associated landscapes, helping to deliver the Botanic Garden's long-term goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role in which you will guide an experienced team of staff, trainees, and volunteers, while contributing to practical horticultural work, project delivery, and plant records management. You will help shape horticultural and arboricultural policy, oversee budgets, and support strategic planning for the Garden's future, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation. If you are organised, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of the country's most important living collections, we would love to hear from you.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
