About the Role

The Council is looking to recruit someone who is interested in furthering their career in Local Government and able to help us to deliver a high-quality service by providing professional support and advice on tree preservation including contributing to planning applications, appeals and other related arborcultural and landscape issues.

The successful candidate will assist in the analysis of submitted planning applications and supporting information, to determine the impact and inform the planning decision making process and provide advice and guidance to planning officers.

The successful applicant will attract a £2000 ‘golden hello’ payment on completion of their probation.
