Cornwall Branch AA are proud to announce the details of their latest seminar. We will be hosting Dr. Duncan Slater who will be talking to us about his latest research on Tree Fork and Natural Brace Assessment and Cornwall will be the first place to host this up to date presentation in the UK that incorporates some of his ‘Trees Over Time’ images.
The event is to be held on 19th July 2019, Duncan will be hosting the morning session followed by the obligatory pasty lunch and in the afternoon we will be having a practical session looking at trees within the grounds of the renowned National Trust site at Lanhydrock House.
This is a unique opportunity to get up-to-date on Duncan’s latest research work which is based upon a variety of experiments which have filled the pages of recent Arb Journals. His work has caused lots of recent discussion in the Arb world and it gives a fresh and insightful way to interpret the structures of trees and how they grow – focusing in particular on bark-included branch junctions - which has a relevance for all aspects of our profession.
The price is £50+VAT and numbers are strictly limited to ensure that every delegate can get the most from the day so book early!
