Dundee Flower & Produce show, 5th - 7th September – Possible WAH Workshop TBC. Information from Ted, Paul or Eric.

Fungal Foray at Cameron House, Loch Lomond – Chris Simpson has circulated the flyer for this social excursion. Ted will organise a mini-bus pick up between from Peebles and M8 Jnct. 6

Saturday 27th September

Tweed Valley Forest Park Festival – Ted will again run a Heritage Tree tour and coordinate other Branch input.

Oct 24th – Nov 2nd

Christmas Party at Dunkeld Hilton – Ted has made an initial reservation for 15 Party places (£99/person for a shared room). It was agreed that the Branch would pay the required deposit of £15/person which will be reclaimed from attendees. Those wishing to attend should reserve places by contacting jadelouise.black@hilton.com

Saturday 6th December

2008 AGM – Ted is open to suggestions for a venue that affords the chance for a post-AGM tour. Dawyck is a possible location.

N.B. the WAH seminar had been postponed to the first Saturday in May 2009 that the guest speakers could make. The date will be confirmed ASAP. The venue will be the RBGE, Edinburgh. The format will be a series of prestigious speakers in the morning followed by relevant demonstrations in the afternoon
