	Greening, Landscape and Tree Management Section Works Branch, Development Bureau The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Position: HEAD OF GREENING, LANDSCAPE AND TREE MANAGEMENT SECTION (Ref: H/GLTMS) and HEAD OF TREE MANAGEMENT OFFICE (Ref: H/TMO) The newly established GLTM Section in Works Branch of the Development Bureau is responsible for implementing the improvement measures recommended by the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Task Force on Tree Management. It will champion a new, strategic policy direction that aims for sustainability in the development of a greener urban environment for Hong Kong. The H/GLTMS will oversee the newly established GLTM Section and the adoption of a holistic approach to greening, landscape and tree management within the Government. The H/TMO will oversee a new Tree Management Office under the GLTM Section and to act as the central authority and a provider of expertise to various departments on tree management. The candidates should possess senior management experience, an ample knowledge of and operational experience in relevant sector. The candidates should have a degree, preferably at postgraduate level, and a recognised professional qualification in a relevant field.
