The Association's staff are here to help. Between them they have a wide range of knowledge and experience in arboricultural practice, management and administration.

Guy Watson

Technical Officer

Guy's career in arboriculture includes contracting, consulting and local government arboriculture. He provides technical services and runs the Registered Consultant and Local Government (AALGO) accreditation schemes.

Kayt Bennett

Finance Officer

Kayt has worked with SME’s for over 10 years and is a CIMA finalist. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all financial aspects of the business.

Mel Sutherland

Office Manager

Melanie provides support to the Director and team and is responsible for the administration for the AA Approved Contractor and AA Registered Consultant Schemes, Arb Show and Conference bookings. Melanie is also responsible for the efficient running of the office on a day to day basis.

Nick Eden

Director

With a background in arboriculture and forestry contracting, local government arboriculture, parks management and formerly an AA Technical Officer, Nick's role is to direct the activities of the Association.

Paul Smith

Technical Officer

Paul’s career in arboriculture includes contracting, consulting and local government arboriculture. He provides technical services and runs the Approved Contractor accreditation scheme.

Polly Stone

Administration Officer Membership & Accreditation

Polly’s background in arboriculture includes local Government and consulting. Polly is responsible for all membership applications, up-grades and renewals.

Simon Richmond

Technical Officer

Simon’s career in arboriculture includes contracting, consulting and training delivery and development. He provides technical services and runs the Association’s training and seminar programme.
