Which species to plant?
5th July 2012
The Institute of Chartered Foresters and Forestry Commission England are holding two species choice seminars later this month at The National Arboretum, Westonbirt, Gloucester.
The first, on Tuesday 24 July, will focus on which urban tree choices we should be making while on Wednesday 25 July, the second seminar will look at which productive forest species we should be planting to combat the UK’s changing environment.
Both days will incorporate a mix of classroom talks and outdoor tours and, in addition to the knowledge of the speakers, delegates will be able to engage with other experts from urban and forestry environments in the outdoor sessions.
Tickets cost £35 and are open to all although places now are limited on both days.
