The Malthouse - Official Opening Tuesday 10 July

Owning its own head office property has been a goal of the Association for many years - endorsed by the Charity Commission - and we've made it!  Purchased at rock-bottom price in the property slump of 2009 and extensively refurbished last year, the AA moved into its permanent headquarters in April this year.  The Malthouse www.trees.org.uk/contact/location is a period Cotswold stone former farmhouse in two acres and is just right for the AA - and big enough to rent out surplus space to help pay the bills.

As a reminder to members - it's our official open day tomorrow Tuesday 10 July - it's not too late to decide to come but please let us know by emailing admin@trees.org.uk so we can make sure we have enough refreshments to go round.  We are open 12:00 - 17:00 and the only formalities will be a tree planting at 14:00 by Henry Girling and a few (short!) speeches at 14:15.  Hope to see you.
