
Common tree concerns amongst Hampton Court Show visitors.

Offering free help to RHS Hampton Court Flower Show visitors the Arboricultural Association identifies three common concerns:
Also during the show visitors can enter a competition to identify common tree disorders with prizes generously provided by Barcham Trees.
Noting widespread misconceptions of tree root structures the AA exhibition invites visitors to consider which of three illustrations represents the true extent of tree root structures. There is also a series of illustrations of tree work - good and bad - and visitors are asked to think carefully before commissioning tree work and the importance of choosing credible advisors (consultants) and tree surgeons (contractors).
AA Director Nick Eden said, "It has been encouraging to see so many show visitors asking for a copy of our Directory of Registered Consultants and Approved Contractors. This shows that many RHS members and other Hampton Court visitors rely on the AA to protect them from unregulated and sometimes unscrupulous tree workers".
